The AC Schnitzer RS Clubsport coilover suspension was developed and tuned in close cooperation with our partner KW. It is infinitely height-adjustable, adjustable in rebound and compression damping and has an adjustable support bearing on the front axle. It lowers the MINI JCW GP by approx. 30 - 40 mm, which results in a lowering of the vehicle's centre of gravity, and also enables variable camber adjustment on the front axle. Ergo, agility and cornering handling are improved. At the same time, however, great importance was attached to a high residual spring travel, so that a still good ride comfort could be realised parallel to the further sporty development. The suspension was developed exclusively for use on race tracks. |
